Why It’s Needed

During a hair transplant (especially FUE or FUT), (follicular units) are removed from the donor area and kept outside the body until implantation.

• This “out of body time” can range from 30 minutes to several hours depending on the size of the surgery.
• Hair grafts are very delicate and can lose viability if exposed to wrong temperatures or drying conditions.

🔹 Purpose of the Machine

1. Maintains Optimal Temperature (2–8°C)
   • Prevents grafts from drying out or getting damaged by room temperature.
   • Low temperature slows down metabolic activity of grafts → keeps them alive longer.
2. Preserves Graft Quality
   • Ensures follicles remain healthy, hydrated, and strong until implantation.
   • Reduces chances of graft necrosis (death) and increases survival rate.
3. Improves Final Results
   • Higher graft survival = denser, more natural hair growth.
   • Fewer wasted grafts, which is critical since donor hair is limited.
4. Consistency for Large Sessions
   • In mega sessions (3,000–5,000+ grafts), grafts may stay outside for hours.
   • Constant temperature ensures every graft, from the first to the last, is equally viable.
